No deferment to Tailevu/Naitasiri-Rakiraki game

Fiji Football will not be deferring the Premier Division playoffs between Tailevu Naitasiri and Rakiraki despite a match fixing investigation involving Tailevu Naitasiri.

According to Fiji FA, the investigation could take time.

Nasinu, who claim to be victims of this saga have asked Fiji FA to defer the match until the investigations are over.

Nasinu Football patron Sadasivan Naicker confirms that a letter has been sent to Fiji FA.

“Our secretary has written to Fiji FA asking for the games to be held for a while at least until, the investigations are complete.”

According to Nasinu, if the investigation show that the game between Levuka and Tailevu Naitasiri was fixed, they would be entitled to play in the Premier play-offs.
