No changes made for Dreketi football side

February 16, 2018 5:01 pm

The Dreketi football side is expected to field in the same players that played Nadi last weekend in its Vodafone Premier League match against Labasa this afternoon.

President Nilesh Jaduram says they will not back down but play as a team as they know how tough the Babasiga Lions can be.

“We want our players to play well as they will be up against a much more experienced side. We will do our best and try to provide a good encounter against the host.”

Meanwhile, Vinal Prasad, Taniela Rakariva, and Waisake Ravuiwasa have left Dreketi for Lami through the player transfer window while Vikrant Chandra left to join Labasa.

Dreketi will battle Labasa at Subrail Park at 1.30pm today.

In tomorrow’s matches, Suva plays Lautoka at 3pm at Churchill Park while Nadi takes on Tavua at Garvey Park.
