Ravi Nair took out yesterday’s Fiji Car Club organized Quarter Mile Drag race in Pacific Harbour.

Nair, who drove a Mazda R-X7 finished the race in time of 10.69 seconds while Lawrence Ah Sam finished second in a time of 11.83 seconds.

Vicky Nath came in third in a time of 12.12 seconds.

Usual winner, Ravin Nath could not take part in the race due to some technical issues in his car.

In the women’s category, Shafiza Ali took her first title in a time of 17.56 seconds.

The next race in the club’s calendar will be the Drag wars on the 13th of September.
