A new volleyball court was opened to Delainavesi residents yesterday.

The construction of the facility was a joint venture between BSP’s Operations Centre and Lami Town Council.

BSP’s Chief Operating Officer, William Wakeham says the facility will allow youths in the area to develop their sporting talents.

“We were approached by the youths of Delainavesi and they went to the council and the council approached the bank. We met and agreed that we should do a joint venture. So the youths of Delainavesi will have the benefit of a fully –fledged volleyball court.”

BSP Bank also refurbished the outdoor court at Stella Marist Primary School yesterday.
