Exciting news for Volleyball fans next year as the Fiji Volleyball federation will be venturing in to organizing some U19 and U17 tournaments next year.

This has been confirmed by the Federation President Liga Gukisuva who says the board was going to meet soon to hold discussions on this regard.

Gukisuva says this was however postponed due to the current measles outbreak that Fiji is experiencing.

“We are also in talks with two of our partners, in hosting a corporate volleyball tournament for indoor and also for beach volleyball. We were going to have a strategy meeting later this month but because of this outbreak we have postponed it to early next year. So that we can agree on a duration and also on the participation of all these tournaments.”

Meanwhile, the new dates of the Continental Cup will be released this week.

It was to be held this weekend however due to the measles outbreak, the Federation had postponed the tournament to next year.
