John Anthony Moore was added to the Fiji Olympic Order.

Commonly known as Tony Moore, served Fiji, both on the field as a sportsman and off as a Sports Administrator with notable achievements being the 100 yards champion from 1927 to 1938 and having played rugby for Fiji captaining the side at the age of 21.

Tony Senior was born in 1908 in Labasa before being called to rest in 1994.

Another inclusion in the Fiji Olympic Order was Vijendra Pal Sharma, first Fiji person to ever officiate at an Olympic Games.

VP Sharma represented Fiji at various IWF, OWF and CWF tournaments at his own costs and also paid most of Fiji’s affiliation fees to these organizations, at his own personal cost, and all for the love of the sport of weightlifting.
