For the first time ever, all primary schools will come together under one banner to compete in the 2018 Vodafone Kaji Rugby tournament.
Since its inauguration in 2002, the tournament had always been held at their various districts.
Fiji Primary School Rugby Vice President Sakiusa Turagabeci says the tournament is the climax of their calendar and everyone is looking forward to.
“Next week we will have the nationals and about one thousand two hundred and twenty-two plus players have made it through so this a quality primary school rugby we’re talking about.”
Meanwhile, Vodafone Fiji has come on board today to sponsor the tournament and also presented new trophies and rugby kits to the tournament officials.
Fifty teams from all over Fiji will participate in the three-day tournament which kicks off next Monday and ends on Wednesday.
