New Caledonia here to reign supreme

The New Caledonia Under-19 football side is here for a battle and will not be an easy opponent for any team at the World Cup play-offs.

The side has been boosted by the inclusion of former Sheffield United academy rep Mickael Partodikromo.

Partodikromo says they are taking a serious approach heading to the week-long tournament.

“It is going to be hard and every game is going to be hard and for all the game we will give all our energy. Playing in the first three games will be hard especially against Vanuatu, Fiji and Solomon Islands.”

The tournament gets underway with Fiji clashing with American Samoa clash at 2.30pm at the ANZ Stadium.

Vanuatu meets New Caledonia at 5pm, before the Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea clash at 7.30pm.
