Former Fijiana player Timaima Ravisa admits she does not regret switching code to Rugby League.

Ravisa captained the Fiji Women’s Rugby League team that brought home the gold from the Pacific Games in Samoa.

She told FBC News that she was criticized for switching code, but the proud lass says what was important was continuing to represent her country.

“I don’t really want to care about it, I just want to go out there and play and with the support of the girls and the management we managed to get the goal”

Ravisa has also been named in the Auckland Warriors 22 member squad for the NRL Women’s Premiership next season.

The Men’s and Women’s League teams were hosted to a morning tea by the Fiji Rugby League today in honour of their gold medal wins at the Pacific Games.
