FIJI PEARLS NETBALL SQUAD

The opportunity to wear the Fiji Pearls black and white dress will go on the line when about 50 hopefuls go head to head at the netball trials today.

Netball Fiji Administrator says following the National Championships, thirty-nine triallists were selected to trial for the Pearls Squad.

Bogidrau says overseas-based players and those players who are unable to trial due to injury or medical condition will be eligible for Pearls Squad selection.

The Pearls Squad for the 2019 World Cup will be announced following the trials this afternoon.

The trials will take place in Suva at the FMF Gymnasium from 8.30am to 3pm.

The World Cup Team will be announced in June.

The Netball World Cup will be held in Liverpool UK on the 12th to the 21st of July.

Meanwhile, the Pearls are scheduled to play six test matches in preparation for the World Cup.

Aprill 2019 – 3 test matches against Singapore (held in Singapore).

June 2019 – 3 test matches in New Zealand.
