Vodafone Under-20 rugby rep Orisi Nawaqaliva wants to stamp his mark in the Junior World Championships in New Zealand next month.

Nawaqaliva believes the team can better its 11th-place finish from the past two championships.

“I started playing when I was 14. I’ve been playing in England since that age, trying to better my game and develop my skills before coming over to play for Fiji. I will try to push this team and hopefully lift the World Cup.”

Fiji is pooled with European heavyweights Wales, France and Ireland in the JWC.
The side takes on Wales in its opening pool game on June 2nd.
