Nawai signs contract to fight NZ opponent

Fiji’s undefeated middleweight boxer Siliveni Nawai has signed his contract to fight Beau O’Brien of New Zealand in the World Boxing Foundation middleweight vacant title next month in Nadi.
The Nadi native has a record of 11 bouts win since his debut in 2011.
Promoter Simon Naushad says Nawai is ready to fight his overseas opponent.

“Our initial intention is to host the quality fight and to help to revive the wonderful sport and today we’re living our dream with hosting our first ever title fight for Siliveni Nawai with destined to become the future boxing champion for Fiji.”
Nawai and O’Brien will battle in the Canada Fiji Southern Boxing Promotions which will be held on the 23rd of next month.
