The Navua football side upset defending champions Nadroga 3-1 in its second match of the senior division at the Courts Inter District Championship at ANZ Stadium.

Both teams remained scoreless in the first half.

Sharad Kumar scored two goals for Navua and Mosese Balenagaga scored their final goal to seal the victory.

Tomasi Tuicakau scored Nadroga’s lone goal.

This has confirmed Navua’s spot in the semi-finals on Tuesday.

Navua plays Seaqaqa tomorrow while Nadroga battles Taveuni.

Meanwhile, Savusavu upset Tailevu Naitasiri 2-1 in another match.

Thomas Kumar and Iliavi Katonibau scored a goal each for Savusavu.
