Navua football stripped off points

July 28, 2016 12:01 am

The Northland Tailevu side has been awarded three points for the match against Navua in the Southern Zone Vodafone Senior League.

Navua won the match 13-1 but it is alleged that Navua fielded Inoke O’Connor who was on a one match suspension for receiving two yellow cards.

The decision by Fiji Football means that Navua’s chances of winning the zone is very low now as they have eight points while Nasinu has 11 points and Lami leads with 12.
