Navua desperate for a win

The Navua football side is desperate for a win against Rewa in the Fiji Sun/ Skipper Tuna National League on Sunday.

Navua is currently at the tail end of the points standing and the needs to start winning to avoid getting relegated.

Team official, Gopal Naidu, says the team has not been preparing well for the Rewa clash.

“Preparation is not going well for us because of the weather in Navua. The weather is not favoring us and we have started our training session from yesterday and today and we will see how a thing goes before the game and hopefully our boys recover well from Nadi game.”

The game starts at 3pm at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.

In other games on the same day, Ba meets Lautoka at Govind Park, while Nadroga hosts Nadi at Lawaqa Park and Suva takes on Labasa at ANZ Stadium in Suva.

All the matches will kick off at 3pm.
