Navua banks on IDC sucess

December 12, 2012 5:56 pm

The Navua football side will be banking on its home grown players when the Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National League gets underway on Saturday.

The minnows, who shocked all and reached the semi-finals of the IDC in October, are out to ensure they net maximum points this weekend against Labasa and Savusavu.

Navua football president Gopal Naidu says the side will be boosted by Netani Doli and possibly Apisai Smith, who is still waiting for his ITC from New Zealand.
