The Navosa rugby team has again defended the HFC Bank Ratu Josaia Bainimarama Shield after beating Lautoka 9-8 in a tough encounter this afternoon at Sigatoka’s Lawaqa Park.

Navosa led 6-3 at half time.

Navosa’s points came from Nemani Muritovo who kicked three successful penalties while Lautoka’s points came from a penalty kick from Sireli Satala in the first half and a try from Alipate Ciba in the 20th minute of the second spell.
