National team to tour Solomon's and Vanuatu named

The Vodafone Fiji football team has been named to tour the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu next month, following the Courts Inter District Championships.

IDC winners, Ba have 7 players in the squad including Abbu Zaid, Avinesh Swamy and Malakai Tiwa.

The national squad also consists of players from Nadi, Suva, Rewa, Lautoka, and Labasa.

Fijian wonder boy, Roy Krishna is not in the training squad but team Director Tarunesh Reddy says he will feature for the national team if he is given the all-clear by New Zealand franchise, the Wellington Phoenix.

Fiji will play three matches on the tour next month; two against the Solomon Islands and one against Vanuatu.
