Ravin Nath won the Quarter Mile Drag Race held at the Nanuku Airstrip in Deuba yesterday.

Nath finished the race in a time of 9.94 seconds.

Tauz Khan, who returned to the local racing scene after a lapse of six months, finished second with a time of 10.50 seconds while Ravi Nair finished third.

Nath’s record in the event of 9.75 seconds, which he set in 2001 still stands.

The next event on the Fiji Car Club calendar is the Drag Wars, which will be held on the 8th of next month.
