Natabua wins Secondary School Badminton Championships

The Natabua High School A team has won the Fiji Secondary School Badminton Championships in the Girl’s Team Event for its nine consecutive year.

Yet Sen, Natabua and International Secondary Schools are the schools competing in the Championships.

Natabua A defeated Yat Sen A in three sets to two while the Natabua B team won against Yat Sen B to finish in third place.

Natabua High School team Manager Sera Raboiliku says the schools dominance over the year has to be accredited to the dedication of their player and the support of their family.

“We have some very dedicated athletes who are committed to the sports with very supportive parents.”

In the boy’s Team Event, Yet Sen A beat Natabua in three straight sets to win the title.

In the third and fourth place playoffs while Yet Sen B team defeated Natabua three sets to two.

Meanwhile the Single’s Event competition is currently underway.
