Nasinu football coach Allan Jesoni has resigned after the Nasinu Football Association could not meet with the contractual obligation it had with Jesoni.

The resignation means it is a big blow to Nasinu’s preparation just a month before the Courts IDC.

Jesoni says his resignation follows a chain of events that started with Nasinu losing its place to Tailevu Naitasiri in an off the field event.

He says he knows the players and fans will be affected by his decision.

“I apologise to the fans and people of Nasinu. I believe they deserve an apology and an explanation.”

Under Jesoni’s guidance, Nasinu has remained unbeaten this year.

The protest saw senior officials who were the association’s backbone leave followed by Jesoni.
