Nasinu Secondary out to break jinx

July 26, 2016 5:03 pm

Nasinu Secondary School is out to end its barren run in the Coke Zero Deans rugby competition.

The Kinoya based school has never won the Deans and the quest to end this unwanted drought continues this Saturday, when the side plays Cuvucollege in the quarter-finals.

Coach TanielaVakamoce says they will have to do away with playing catch-up rugby if they are to pose a threat to other schools in the competition.

“Since the pattern they are using most of the time they’ve been using a wide game so that is where we are focusing on and the other strength they have is that most of the things they will change it throughout this week, so they can come and compete with Nasinu this week”.

Nasinu will take on Cuvu College at 11am Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.

In the other U18 quarterfinals, Marist Brothers High School will take on Lelean Memorial School at 12.30pm, QVS will meet Suva Grammar School at 2pm while RKS will meet Ratu Navula College at 4pm at the ANZ Stadium.
