Defending champion Nasinu proved too strong for Fire Wardens to secure a 23-16 point’s victory to book a spot in the Koroturaga Cup final next week.

The Nasinu side did not give up after trailed 11-9 in the first half. They then regrouped in the second spell and scored two tries to book their final spot.

Coach Usaia Biumaiwai says it was their team effort that leads them to victory.

“The boys really worked hard and defend the cup properly so that’s why we won the game.”

Meanwhile, RKS OB defeated Police White 22-19 to book its first Koroturaga Cup final.

Defending champion Nasinu meets RKS OB next Saturday in the final.
