Nasilasila tops point scorer

Despite Fiji’s poor performance in Sydney over the weekend, Fiji Airways, playmaker Amenoni Nasilasila is still leading the most points scored in the 2017-18 World Sevens Series.

The Ratu Filise fly half has a total of 112 points so far followed by South Africa’s Seabelo Senatla with 110 while James Stannard of Australia in third place with 102 points.

Nasilasila also top the Performance Tracker with 130 points.

Meanwhile, Fiji had been drawn in Pool A alongside Australia, Wales and Spain in Hamilton.

Fiji will play Wales in its first pool game at 11.36am Saturday, and will then take on Spain at 3.02pm before battling Australia at 6.50pm Saturday.

The medal quarterfinals starts at 11.36am Sunday, the semis will be played at 3.49pm while the final kicks off at 7.03pm Sunday.
