Namosau Course to boost horse racing

The newly renovated Namosau Race Course will be a boost to the upcoming Horse Racing competition in Ba next month.

The venue is well renowned for horse-racing for the past decade and the refurbished facility will only add to its reputation as the premier horse race venue in the country.

Tournament Organizer, Sunil Sharma credits the Ba Town for assisting in the upgrade of the facility.

“Now we can see the new look and new upgraded track here in Namosau which is the first in Fiji. Now we are looking at more crowd and more tough games in this raced.”

New features at the Namosau Race Course include the upgraded race track as well as a new pavilion for spectators.

More than 150 horses are expected to participate at the one day event on December 20th.
