The Ba football side has lost its opening match in the OFC Champions League, going down to Vanuatu’s Nalkutan FC by 1-nil.

James Naka scored from the spot kick after a foul by Malakai Tiwa.

Tiwa was then shown a red card as Ba was cut down to 10 men.

In a match earlier, Papua New Guinea based Lae City Dwellers thumped Tupapa by 7-2.

Meanwhile, Ba faces Lae City Dwellers in its next match at 3pm on Tuesday
