Fiji Airways Flying Fijians lock Leone Nakarawa confirmed that he will join the national sevens team for the World Cup after the test matches this month.
Nakarawa says his first priority is the Flying Fijians and winning the Pacific Nations Cup.
“Right now I’m just focusing on this three games playing for the 15’s team and I think after these then I will march into camp.”
Meanwhile, the European player of the year and Racing lock says it’s time for the young players in the Flying Fijians to learn and step up in their performance.
“We all know that we won’t be playing rugby forever and we need some young boys to come through so that when we leave they can take it over.”
The Flying Fijians take on Samoa at 3.30pm on Saturday at ANZ Stadium in Suva.
