Nakarawa proud of Fiji's achievements

Vodafone Flying Fijians lock forward, Leone Nakarawa says a lasting memory for him in the 2015 Rugby World Cup will be how the team stood up to the three super powers of England, Australia and Wales.

The Scotland-based rep was a stand-out player for Fiji, winning the ‘Man of the Match’ award in the 47-15 win over Uruguay yesterday and racking up the most offloads so far with 22.

“It was a great effort from the boys; we all worked well together, competing against the tier 1 nations and I think we gave them a scare in the set-pieces.”

The Flying Fijians will return to the country tomorrow with the majority of the players to return to their clubs in Europe.

Meanwhile, Bryan Habana scored a hat-trick of tries to equal Jonah Lomu’s record as South Africa reached the World Cup quarter-finals by thrashing USA 64-0.
