Fijian Noa Nakaitaci has been named in France’s Rugby World Cup squad.

He is amongst the 14 backs named by coach France coach Philippe Saint-Andre, who has caused a major selection surprise by omitting experienced No 10 Francois Trinh-Duc.

Nakaitaci, who plays for Clermont, is one of the best wingers for the Les Bleus and is expected to be the starting wing for the side.

Veteran Frederic Michalak is also named.
