Naitasiri unites for Farebrother defense

July 31, 2018 6:04 pm

The former players and coaches of the Naitasiri rugby team have all come together to help them win the HFC Bank Farebrother Trophy this season.

The Highlanders knows that it will face a mammoth task against Nadroga, who thumped them 52-19 in the Skipper Cup semi-final last month.

Coach Koli Sewabu says they are being assisted by experienced rugby expert Joji Rinakama to help Naitasiri beat the Stallions.

“It’s good to have most of the old boys who won the trophy back in 1998, 2001 and 2002. So it’s always good to have them around in trainings in the team camp and it’s just a boost to the team.”

Naitasiri plays Nadroga at 3pm at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori on Saturday.
Meanwhile, in the HFC Bank Bainimarama Shied at the same venue, title holders Northland faces Tailevu at 5pm on Friday.

You can catch the commentaries of both matches on Radio Fiji One.
