Naitasiri Rugby Union plans ahead

The Naitasiri Rugby team has bigger plans of reviving some rugby tournaments in the Highlands.

Coach Koli Sewabu says this year is a big year for Naitasiri as they will celebrate its 28th year of existence in the country and resurrect three rugby zones.

“As you can see there’s a lot of designs of work they will go into. But we’re casting a little bit deeper this year with the formation of Vunidawa, Wainimala, Waidina zones and trying to revive it and then set the dates for our trial before we select our final team.”

He adds after going down to Suva in the Skipper Tuna Provincial Tens final over the weekend, this will not stop them from grabbing other local rugby titles.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Rugby Union will name 26 players for the Brisbane Tens in Australia next month.
