Naisilasila named as standby player in Cape Town

Fiji Airways men’s 7s scrum-half Amenoni Nasilasila has been named as the 13th player for the Cape Town tournament which starts tonight.

This after coach Gareth Baber named his final 13 member squad last night.

The squad see’s Beniamino Vota making it into the squad.

Baber has also retained his core players from Dubai with the likes of Kalione Nasoko, Mesulame Kunavula, Sevuloni Mocenacagi, Jerry Tuwai and Alosio Naduva.

Fiji plays France in its first match at 9.59pm, then faces Kenya at 1.20am tomorrow before playing England in its final pool match 5.03am.

The Cup quarter-final begins at 11.04pm tomorrow, semi-final will be held at 3.56am on Monday and the final is scheduled for 6.44am.
