Fiji born Isi Naisarani is now eligible to play for the Wallabies in April next year after the Rebels have confirmed the signing of Naisarani.

The backrower is well on the radar for the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan, kicking off in September.

Naisarani has been on Michael Cheika’s radar since a barnstorming NRC season in 2016 for Brisbane City that earned him a Super Rugby opportunity with the Force.

Meanwhile, Fiji Born centre Tevita Kuridrani will now join fellow Fijian Samu Kerevi on the sidelines for three months after suffering chest injury in the Brumbies win last Saturday against the Waratahs

Kuridrani’s injury now adds to Michael Chieka’s midfield crisis this now leaves Reece Hodge and Curtis Rona on a two-man race for the number 13 jumper.
