The physiotherapy and medical students of Fiji National University based at Hoodless House Campus are excited to be part of the Marist 7s next weekend.
Fourth Year Physiotherapy student Sakiusa Naika says he wants to break the ideology that medical practitioners only reside in hospitals.
Naika says it is important for people to understand the link between sports and physiotherapist and its importance.
“It won’t make a difference if we learn a lot of things in class and we don’t put it into practice. I am thankful for the Marist tournament organizer for giving us this opportunity to help me brush up and freshen my knowledge and practical skills in this event and I hope to participate in other sporting events out there.”
FNU students will be part of the official medical team for the Marist 7s.
