Former National 15’s rep, Apisai Naevo will be attending the funeral of the late All Black’s legend, Jonah Lomu.

Speaking to FBC Sports from his farm house in Nadi yesterday, Naevo says his former Counties Manukau and Auckland team mate, Joeli Vidiri is arranging travel and accommodation plans in order for him to attend the service for their fallen friend.

“At the moment, Joeli just contacted me and have been emailing me all the time about the arrangement of the funeral and they really want me to go.”
Naevo played club rugby with Lomu and Vidiri for the Counties Manukai and Auckland Blues."

Lomu passed away two days ago in Auckland after a long battle with a rare kidney disease.

The funeral date and venue is yet to be confirmed.
