Naduva likely to play in Paris

Fiji Airways men’s 7s speedster Alasio Naduva is expected to be included in the 12 member team for the Paris tournament this weekend.

Naduva was named as the 13th player in the London tournament after the inclusion of Semi Radradra and Josua Tuisova.

Coach Gareth Baber says players like Naduva, Samisoni Viriviri and Apenisa Cakaubalavu rested last weekend and are expected to play major part in France as they will be fresh and ready to start.

The Fiji 7s is pooled with New Zealand, Kenya and Samoa for the Paris tournament.

They will play Samoa in its first pool match at 8.50pm on Saturday and then face Kenya at 11.46pm.

Fiji plays its final pool match against New Zealand at 5.14am on Sunday.

The cup quarterfinal kicks off at 8.13pm, semi-finals will be played at 12.03am next Monday and the final is scheduled for 4.54am.
