Naduva likely to miss Las Vegas 7s

Fiji Airways men’s 7s coach Gareth Baber says Alasio Naduva is likely to miss the Las Vegas tournament this weekend in the USA.

This after the speedster has not been given the USA visa.

He says if nothing is sorted out by tomorrow then Naduva will meet the team Canada next week.

“If it remains like this then we will see him in Vancouver. The best is if something happens in the next 24 hours, we will get him to join him here as soon as possible. It disappointing for him as his a proud Fijian and loves to wear Fiji 7s jumper.”

The Fiji 7s side begins its campaign in the Las Vegas tournament against Russia at 12.06pm on Saturday.

They then play France at 3.07pm and faces Kenya in their last pool match at 8.36am on Sunday.

The quarterfinal kicks off at 1.26pm on Sunday, while the semi-final begins at 9.12am next Monday and the final is secluded for 12.30pm.
