Nadroga wary of unbeaten tag

August 6, 2014 12:05 am

The BLK Nadroga rugby side says being unbeaten so far this season will not count for anything when it plays Suva in the Skipper Cup semi-final on Saturday.

The two teams meet in the first semi-final at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.
Nadroga was the only unbeaten side after the round robin competition, while Suva finished fourth.

Stallions rugby president, Tiko Matawalu, says the traditional giants of Fiji, understand fully that semi-finals is all about winning on the day.

“You know having played with a undefeated run, that is a challenge in itself and that is something we need to challenge and we need to beat to be able to to remain on top as we go into these semi-finals here. All the teams we have played in the round robins, when it comes to the semi-final, it is a different ball game altogether.”
