Three Nadroga rugby players are now preparing to play in Europe.

Ratunaisa Nakurutabua and Sailasa Ratu have been contracted to play for the French club Clermout, while Samu Laqai has signed a contract with a team in Romania.

Nadroga rugby union spokesperson, Tiko Matawalau says, sending the three overseas will benefit them on and off the field.

“This is part of our development is that talent that we have and how we can leave around it that’s is main focus in the Nadroga rugby union so that we development our players that they opportunity and also to allow our upcoming players to be able to step up the call”.

Matawalu said he hopes the three Nadroga boys will do Fiji proud while playing for their foreign teams.
