The BLK Nadroga rugby team wants to continue with its winning momentum in the Skipper Cup, when it takes on Ovalau on Saturday.
The two teams meet in Lawaqa Park with Nadroga having already qualified for the semi-final.
The traditional Fijian provincial rugby champs want to continue their momentum in ensuring the remaining matches in the round robin stages, acts as a build up to the finals.
Nadroga Rugby Union president, Tiko Matawalu, says while Ovalau has not had a good season, the Stallions will have to be wary.
“Ovalau is no exception and we don’t look at their current form and their previous form but we are always preparing to meet a team that can do anything on the day. This is something that we are normally prepared for as these teams can be unpredictable at times at times and can do anything and anything can happen on the field. Our aim is to continue to improve and minimize the mistakes that continue to pop up each week.”
The match starts at 3pm.
In other matches on Saturday, Jacks Nadi hosts Suva at Prince Charles Park, Naitasiri travel to Labasa to take on Macuata, while Lautoka meets Vatukoula at Theodore Park.
