The Nadroga rugby team has registered 153 players to compete at next year’s local rugby competitions.

Nadroga Rugby President Tiko Matawalu says they had their trials last Saturday and will be making up three teams from the 153 registered players.

Matawalu adds the three teams will include the senior team, a development squad who will be known as the Stallions and an Under 23 squad.

60 new players are included in the total number of registered players while 33 are overseas based players.

Some of the overseas based players include Samisoni Viriviri, Napolioni Nalaga and Rupeni Nasiga.

Nadroga won this year’s Skipper Cup title and successfully defended their HFC Bank Farebrother title.
