August 1, 2018 12:33 am

The Nadroga rugby team says it has utmost respect for rival Naitasiri ahead of the much anticipated HFC Bank Farebrother Trophy Challenge match on Saturday.

The Stallions thumped their opponent 52-19 in its last meeting in the Skipper Cup semi-final at Lawaqa Park last month.
Nadroga President, Tiko Matawalu says the players have not stopped training after the Skipper Cup final loss to Suva and are ready to face their opponent.

“It’s not an easy task preparing for such a game. Naitasiri is a tough team after winning the trophy from Namosi last week. Namosi was not an easy team to beat and for Naitasiri to win the match at Thompson Park, it shows the caliber of players Naitasiri has to beat any team.”

Naitasiri plays Nadroga at 3pm at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori on Saturday.
Meanwhile, in the HFC Bank Bainimarama Shied at the same venue, title holders Northland faces Tailevu at 5pm on Friday.

You can catch the commentaries of both matches on Radio Fiji One.
