Nadroga lilkey to file protest against Suva

July 31, 2017 2:33 am

The Nadroga rugby side is likely to file a protest later this afternoon against Suva after the 24-23 loss in the HFC Bank Farebrother Trophy Challenge last Saturday.

Nadroga President, Tiko Matawalu has confirmed that their legal team is working on it.

The Stallions are claiming that two players who played for Suva over the weekend, are registered with Naitasiri, and did not qualify to play for the capital city side.

FBC Sports believes that the two players in question are fly half Kini Douglas and flanker Eroni Tuisese.

Fiji Rugby Union Chief Executive, John O’Connor says they have not received anything from Nadroga yet and the deadline for filing a protest is at 3pm today.
