Nadroga happy with AGM

Nadroga representatives came away satisfied after the Fiji Rugby Union AGM at the Queen Elizabeth Barrack in Suva.

Nadroga rugby union treasurer and former skipper Tiko Matawalu says that the meeting was a very fruitful one.

There was also a high level of transparency that was displayed at the meeting today, in terms of the financial position of Fiji Rugby union, looking back at the Rugby World Cup and also the new direction that Fiji Rugby union is planning to take Fiji rugby to.

The FRU recorded a loss of $177,737 for the year 2011 and board chairman Colonel Mosese Tikoitoga says they will be initiating cost cutting measures as well as methods to generate revenue to pay off debts.
