Nadroga await protest hearing

June 25, 2012 1:02 am

Nadroga’s entry into the Battle of the Giants depends on a protest hearing by the Fiji Football Association this evening.

With six teams confirmed, the result of the protest may give Nadroga the three points they need.

Fiji FA chief executive, Bob Kumar says the standing after the first round of the National Football League decides which team goes into the BOG.

He says Navua, Tavua and Nadroga are battling for the two vacant spots and the protest could make it or break it for Nadroga and Tavua.

Kumar says Fiji FA will draw the pools of the BOG sometimes this week, indicating Fiji FA have already made their decision.

For the first time, the BOG will be played for 90 minutes.
