Nadolo looking to make bigger impact

September 20, 2015 6:53 pm

Vodafone Flying Fijians winger, Nemani Nadolo is looking to impose himself more in the World Cup.

As if scoring Fiji’s lone try against England over the weekend, and kicking a penalty goal wasn’t enough, the 27 year old was a menace whenever he had the ball, bumping defenders out of his path in the 35-11 opening loss.

Nadolo says he will try to lift his work rate up another notch to give his team mates the much-needed boost.

“It’s definitely disappointing because we know we played for a lot of pride for the family and people back home. I know the boys will be gutted in the dressing room but for me personally, knowing you came off that you gave it or you could have done a bit more. So it’s disappointing but we’ve got another chance against Australia and hopefully we can do well.”

Fiji meets Australia at 3:45am on Thursday at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.

You can watch all the World Cup matches live on FBC TV and radio commentaries of Fiji’s games will air on Bula FM and Radio Fiji One.
