The Nadi Gujarati soccer team won the Vodafone Gujarati IDC after beating Lami 5-4 in the penalty-shootout at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.

Both teams were locked at nil-all till the final whistle of extra-spell.

Nadi Gujarati soccer team captain Aditya Raniga said this win is dedicated to all the players, officials and management and their families and the whole community of Nadi and this is a very proud moment.

Nadi defeated defending champions Lautoka one-nil in the first semi-final after Kinjal Patel scored the lone goal from the penalty spot in the second half.

In the second semifinal, Lami stunned Suva with a one-nil win after a brilliant free kick from Mikash Magan.
