The Airport Rugby team will be boosted by the services of Nadi provincial reps at the inaugural Westfield 7s tournament later this month.

Team Manager, Jeff Tamata says players like Cyril Reece, Jone Turuva and Seru Vaniqi have been roped into the Airport team to maintain their fitness during the off-season.

“To engage the Nadi players to in the airport team. Over the years, we have found out that during the festive season they tend to slacken off and when the proper season starts for fifteen, they try to have a catch up game.”

The Mini-Westfield 7s will be held on the 19th of this month at the Prince Charles Park.
