Nadi out to secure semi-final spot

The Jack’s Nadi rugby side is out to secure a semi-final spot when they face Suva in the Skipper Cup competition this weekend.

The winner of the match will secure a place in the elimination rounds.

The Jetsetters aim to maintain their lead on the points table following the 52-17 thrashing of Macuata last week.

Team Manager, Jeff Tamata says the players know the game against the capital city will not be easy.

“We are preparing well to play against Suva this week since its going t be the clash of the two top teams in the Skipper Cup Competition. And Suva, as we all know they are tough when they are playing at the ANZ Stadium. Likewise, we are also preparing to face a very strong and determined side this weekend.”

Nadi takes on Suva at the ANZ Stadium at 3pm on Saturday and you can catch a live commentary on Bula FM with the voice of rugby, Graham Eden.

In other matches, Naitasiri will take on Macuata at Bidesi Park, Lautoka will host Vatukoula at Nadovu Park, Ovalau will face Nadroga at Nasau Park, Tailevu will host Tavua at Ratu Cakobau Park and Northland will take on Namosi at Gatward Park.
