Nadi out to end its 16 year IDC drought

The Nadi football side hopes to end its 16 year drought in the Courts Inter District Championship which begins from next week.

President Javed Ahmed says they’ve been trying for a long time to win the title and this year, they’re ready to face their opponents.

The Jetsetters will be boosted by experienced players like Vereti Dickson, Ilimotama Jese, Rusiate Matererega, Rahul Krishna and Ame Vutuniu.

Meanwhile, the IDC kicks off next Friday where Rewa plays Tavua at 1.30pm, Labasa faces Nasinu at 3.30pm, Suva meets Nadi at 6pm and Lautoka will battle Ba in the last match of day one at 8pm.
